Project Tempest was a VR multiplayer PvE Combat Shooter where players would take on the role of a ranger on a far away planet and defend human settlements from the scourge – alien creatures hailing from a nearby star system.
My contributions on this project:
- Led a team of designers and developed layouts and scripted content for multiple levels, including the showcase level to greenlight the project into production
- Helped establish game vision including core game pillars, combat flow, and narrative alongside Game Director and other Leads
- Closely collaborated with production to establish scope, milestone deliverables, and departmental workflows
- Responsible for transition of the Level Design pipeline from proprietary RAD Engine to Unreal 5
- Mentored designers and inspired other game pods to promote a positive environment of sharing ideas, valuing input, and providing feedback to others
